Short description
This ink-pot has been attributed by Planiscig and Santangelo to a 17th century Venetian artist. Santangelo, though, notes that the bronze might not be authentic. The way in which it was founded and its unusual decoration, consisting of three winged putti and a hooded old man, point to an eastern model and confirm that the bronze is a forgery.
