Short description
The base of this Kneeling Satyr is a large and shallow hexagonal inkwell. It rests on three paw feet, with its sides decorated by a tendril that is broken into four parts in each section. The work is by a copyist of Severo da Ravenna, who replicates the style of the frequently copied model of the Kneeling Satyr.
